Design and Motion Work

The work below is a mishmash of design, illustration, and animation. Intent spans across print and digital, and includes advertising campaigns, branding, and communications materials.

Every creative decision was intentional with a project’s end-goal in mind.

Video and Motion Projects

My design work spans multiple channels, including video, motion, and both 2D and 3D animation.

My skill-set includes design for animation, VFX, 2D animation, and video editing. I’ve been known to get behind a camera too.

Microsoft Visio Hype Video
Assistant Art Direction, Compositing, Motion

Project goals: The customer was looking to showcase new product features at the annual Microsoft Ignite conference. The dry subject matter was made interesting by deconstructing the UI to spotlight features. Lively animation paired well with upbeat music made this a big hit at the conference.

Mission Control Short Film (Trailer)
Compositing, Motion, VFX

Project goals: The trailer above and short film were created for film festival submission under studio Vossler Media. The visual effects and motion shots leaned heavily into an 80’s sci-fi aesthetic for a quirky, lighthearted piece. Almost every shot includes screen replacements, motion, or other VFX.

Safety Campaign Launch
Art Direction, Design

Project goals: This piece was geared for busy managers overseeing a new safety program roll out. The overview provided bite-sized talking points to get managers up to speed quickly. While stakeholders initially requested live action, I felt animation provided a more engaging experience for a bland topic like PPE. The gloves were reproduced using photogrammetry and animated in a motion study to get stakeholder buy-in before finalizing the piece.
